Panther Camp Mission
The Panther Camp mission is to provide incoming FIU students with the opportunity to transition to FIU in an exciting and engaging manner. The program focuses on assisting first year students in building relationships with other FIU students, fostering school spirit, cultivating future student leaders and helping students learn about FIU’s traditions and unique culture.
Space for the camp is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.
Panther Camp History
The first ever Panther Camp took place during the Summer of 2006, with only 11 facilitators and 25 freshmen. Last year, 120 spots at Panther Camp were quickly filled for the three-day camp. This year Panther Camp is pleased to announce that, for the first time ever, we will offer two camp sessions! Panther Camp has also grown to a four day camp, at the request of last year's campers. We have 21 facilitators, and 240 camper spots waiting to be filled!
